Simple Chocolate Mousse

Who doesn't love the creamy smooth taste of chocolate mousse? With this recipe, it'll be ok to get your sweet tooth satisfied. High in healthy fats and loaded with flavor, hard to believe there are benefits with something so delicious. There are the antioxidant powers and inflammation-reducing powers of the cocoa that make this treat "ok" for all healthy Keto lifestyles!

Prep time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp dark cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • Add Stevia drops to taste
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 4 tbsp. Shredded coconut, unsweetened

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl beat the coconut oil and heavy cream with your electric mixer (HIGH); beat about 3 to 4 minutes or until soft and creamy.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix on LOW speed for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is thick.

  3. Keep covered and refrigerated.
  4. Serve in individual cups sprinkled with unsweetened shredded coconut.
