Chicken Thighs in Savory Broth

This savory dish is loaded with protein, healthy fats and flavor. Simple to cook and will keep you satisfied for hours.

Serves 3

Cook and Prep time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Organic Chicken Thighs
  • 1/4 Cup Grass Fed Butter
  • 2 Cups Organic Chicken Broth - (can substitute bone broth)
  • 2 Cloves Garlic diced
  • 1 tsp. fresh ground Sage

Directions

1. In a large stock pot add butter, garlic, and sage and cook while stirring for 3 minutes on medium high heat until garlic is soft.

2. Add legs to pan and cook on one side for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for 5 minutes on other side until golden brown.  *Note- they will not be cooked through at this time.

3. Add broth to pot and cover. 

4. Simmer on low for 35 minutes. Test for doneness by taking out a leg, and piercing with a fork. If juice runs clear legs are done.
